The 2024 Boroondara council election will be held in October 2024. As per previous elections, it will be conducted by mail-out ballots by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC).[1]
Key dates
As per the Local Government Act 2020, general council elections are held on the fourth Saturday of October every four years.[2] Postal elections, such as those held in Boroondara, actually commence three weeks prior to polling day when ballot mailouts begin.
Dates have yet to be confirmed by the Victorian Electoral Commission.
