The 2024 Boroondara council election was held in October 2024. As per previous elections, it was conducted by mail-out ballots by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC).^[1]

Key dates

As per the Local Government Act 2020, general council elections are held on the fourth Saturday of October every four years.^[2] Postal elections, such as those held in Boroondara, actually commence three weeks prior to polling day when ballot mailouts begin.

26 October 2024 - Voting closes at 6pm
