This article covers councillors of the Shire of Boroondara, who made up the Council that governed the municipality. In May 1905, the Shire was gazetted as the Borough of Boroondara and Camberwell, and subsequently as a Town in 1906 and then the City of Camberwell in April 1914.[1]

1889 - 1871

During this time period, the municipality was unsubdivided with six councillors. Ridings of three councillors each were proclaimed on 8 April 1889 with a consequent increase in the total number of councillors to nine.[8][18][22]

The Shire of Boroondara was proclaimed on 17 November 1871. It was previously the Boroondara District Roads Board, which was established on 11 July 1854. See Members of the Boroondara District Roads Board for this time period.
